Stampin' Up! Make a Wish Card + GIVEAWAY!!

Happy Monday!
I have a fun and and colorful project to share, featuring the Party Wishes stamp set by Stampin' Up! I used a fun color combination I discovered on the Global Design Project website. I tend to stick with the same colors for most of my projects and I wanted to try something new. I love the way this card turned out! I added flowers to jazz up the cake and it really pops off the card. Love it!
Project Dimensions Basic black card base cut at 4.25" by 11" scored @ 5.5" Bermuda Bay layer cut at 4" by 5.25" Melon Mambo & Whisper White layer cut using Lots of Labels Framelits (5th and 6th framelit from the inside) Basic Black mat cut with 1 3/4" circle punch Whisper White greeting cut with 1 1/2" circle punch

Stampin' Up! Saturday: Emboss Resist Technique- Dream Big Card

Hello Everyone!
Today's project features the emboss resist technique. I have never done this technique before but it allows you to give your embossed images a multi-layered appearance. I did a very simple version of this technique in my card project today. I added a wash of ink to my embossed image using Stampin' Up!'s aqua painters. It really made my image pop and I love the varying depth of the ink saturation. 
Project Dimensions: Whisper White Notecards (pre-cut) at 5" by 7" scored at 3.5" DSP strips cut at 1" by 5" then hand torn on each end Sentiment layer cut with 2.5" circle punch

EMBOSS RESIST

Directions:

1) Stamp and heat emboss your image. Allow image to cool.

2) Apply ink directly to the paper (over and around the embossed image) using a sponge, brayer, or aqua painters.

3) Wipe the embossed image with a tissue to remove the excess ink.

Stampin' Up! Saturday- Botanical Garden Thank You Card

Happy Saturday!

Today's Stampin' Up! Saturday design was inspired by page 26 of the 2016 Occasions catalog.

This design features lots of coordinating elements from the Botanical Garden suite. I chose the sentiment from the Suite Sayings stamp set. If you love greeting stamp sets as much as I do, it's a must have in your collection!

Whisper White card base cut at 8.5" by 5.5" scored at 4.25"
Hello Honey layer cut at 4" by 5.25"
Botanical Gardens DSP layer cut at 3.75" by 5"
