Happy Saturday! Today I'm sharing the beautiful card we created during this week's Facebook LIVE. I pulled out my aqua painters to do a bit of water-coloring. I had so much fun revisiting this technique and I absolutely love how this card turned out.
I'm am so in love with the projects in this months first feature of Club Quitabug! This kit has such vibrant colors and features water coloring on each design. You'll definitely want to make sure you have your Aqua Painters for this one.

Today's project is a pretty set of birthday cards featuring the 2017-19 In Colors. These are cards are super simple, colorful, and fun! I did some easy water coloring using blender pens for the sentiment. I really love the way they turned out and they're perfect to keep on hand when a birthday arises.

I hope your week is off to a great start...mine has been busy but productive. Today's project features my most favorite thing...ladybugs! I used the Love You Lots hostess stamp set and added a little water coloring to the ladybugs. I'm no water color expert but I sure do love how this card turned out!
Today's project features the emboss resist technique. I have never done this technique before but it allows you to give your embossed images a multi-layered appearance. I did a very simple version of this technique in my card project today. I added a wash of ink to my embossed image using Stampin' Up!'s aqua painters. It really made my image pop and I love the varying depth of the ink saturation.
Project Dimensions:
Whisper White Notecards (pre-cut) at 5" by 7" scored at 3.5"
DSP strips cut at 1" by 5" then hand torn on each end
Sentiment layer cut with 2.5" circle punch

EMBOSS RESIST
Directions:
1) Stamp and heat emboss your image. Allow image to cool.
2) Apply ink directly to the paper (over and around the embossed image) using a sponge, brayer, or aqua painters.
3) Wipe the embossed image with a tissue to remove the excess ink.
