Stampin' Up! Cheers Everyday Tags Wedding Card

Today's project is a lovely non-traditional wedding card. I randomly selected the colors for this card...I wasn't sure about them, but the more I have stared (yes, stared) at this card the more I love it! This week I challenged my team of Quitabug Stampers to make a wedding/anniversary themed card. This is my contribution to this week's theme challenge. What do you think?

Project Measurements Delightful Dijon card base 5.5" x 8.5" scored at 4.25" Delightful Dijon layer 4" x 5.25"

The Delightful Dijon layer was inked with Delightful Dijon using one of our Stamping Sponges. 

Strips of ribbon and a torn piece of Pop of Pink Washi is layered behind the heart. The heart has been stamped with Watermelon Wonder Ink using an image from the Work of Art stamp set. The sentiment comes from the Everyday Tags stamp set. Gold Metallic Thread is looped behind the heart. A tiny gold enamel heart was added to the bottom right of the card. 

Both the heart and Delighful Dijon layers are attached using dimensionals. And of course my envelope has been stamped for that extra sweet touch!

Stampin' Up! Sunshine Wishes Congrats Card

I have another project idea to share with you. Today's project features the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits + Playful Palette Washi Tape. For some reason, I am on a Painter's Palette kick the last few days. I just love the colors of the suite and the versatility!

I made these cards for a couple of ladies on my team of Quitabug Stampers. They will each be receiving one of these cards, along with, a Stampin' Up! product gift in celebration of their January achievements on our team! I love my team and I love to spoil them for their accomplishments.

Peekaboo Peach card base 5.5" x 8.5" scored at 4.25"

Whisper White layer 4" x 5.25"

I chose three patterns from the washi tape for the back ground of the card. A quarter of a Delicate Doilie was added beneath the washi.

The word "congrats" was die cut in Basic Black from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlit set. "It's Your Day" was stamped in Basic Black Archival ink using the Sunburst Sayings stamp set. 

To finish off the card, I added a small piece of ruched ribbon in Peakboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum topped with a strand of Silver Sequin Trim. I stapled these three elements onto the Whisper White layer. Finally, I decorated the envelope using the Painter's Palette stamp set, Peekaboo Peach ink, and Sweet Sugarplum ink. 

I love the finished card! What do you think?

Stampin' Up! Suite Sentiments Friendship Card| Occasions Catalog

Hello and happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I spent the weekend in my studio catching up on some things. I'm so excited to share another video tutorial with you all! I absolutely love this card! I was inspired to create this card because I've got a couple of friends I need to catch up with and I thought I'd like to send them a handmade card first rather than just phone. It's so nice to get something sweet and unexpected in the post...I just know they'll love it!

Happy Wednesday!

Although I call it a "thank you" card, the cards do not always say "thank you".
