Beautiful Toile Christmas

Today's card is a beautiful one. I used the Toile Christmas stamp (which is also available in a bundle HERE) for this gorgeous cardinal image. I absolutely love this cardinal image. It's so striking. You can color it or leave it plain, as I've done here, and either way it's just lovely.

Very Vanilla Thick card base 5.25" x 11" scored at 5.5"
Toile Tidings Designer Paper 4" x 5.25"
Very Vanilla layer (die cut using Stitched Rectangles)

Helpful Tips:
  • Stamp the end of the branch off the left edge of the die cut Very Vanilla stitched layer using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • Stamp the cardinal image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on top of the branch.
  • Wrap the Nature's Twine around the stitched layer (beneath the branch) and tie in a bow off to the left. Adhere this panel to the card front using dimensionals.

Toile Christmas Cardinal

I have got a gorgeous card for you today featuring the new Toile Christmas stamp set from the Holiday Catalog! I had so much fun coming up with a design using this stamp set. This stamp set isn't my usual style but I was excited to try something different and get a bit out of my comfort zone. I really really love how this card turned out! What do you think?

Crumb Cake card base 5.5" x 8.5" scored at 4.25"
Very Vanilla 3" x 4.25" (Stitched Rectangle Dies)
Garden Green 3-3/8" x 4.75"

It's always fun to do some coloring with the Stampin' Blends. I love adding shading with the dark shade first and then blending it out using the lighter shade.
