Sponging & Splattering Technique

Did you come to last week's Facebook LIVE? I had so much sharing a sponging & splattering (well, splatter flick is what I named it) technique to create this card. I wish you could see this card in person! Mango Melody is so vibrant and with all of the sponging, splatters, and texture, this card has some serious WOW factor happening.

If you missed my Facebook LIVE, you can catch the replay below or CLICK HERE.

Sponged Springtime Foils

I'm so excited about today's project! I used the stunning Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Paper (free with a $50 purchase) and added color using our Stampin' Sponges.

HOST CODE- CUMNQV4Z

It was super easy to use the sponges to add color. I simply tapped my sponge on the ink pad a couple of times, then lightly sponged on the color using a circular motion. I added color until I had the depth I wanted.

I layered half of a Delicate White Doily + half of a Silver Metallic Foil Doily behind the sentiment layer for an added touch of texture and interest. And of course, each card would not be complete without a matching envelope!

Project Measurements
Very Vanilla Thick card base 4.25" x 11" scored at 5.5"
Copper Foil layer 4" x 5.25"
Designer paper layer 3.75" x 5"

I'm going to have a very difficult time using these two cards...they're just too pretty to give away!

Stampin' Up! Oh So Succulent Mother's Day Card

Isn't this card absolutely gorgeous! It's total eye candy, I love it! I was inspired to create this card because I really wanted to use the Oh So Succulent stamp set. It's on the Retiring List and I hadn't yet had the chance to create with it.

This week my teams color challenge was an interesting one...Perfect Plum, Pool Party, and Crushed Curry. I wasn't feeling inspired by the colors but this stamp set helped me create a beautiful card using this interesting color selection and I actually like these colors together now! What do you think??

Stampin' Up! Cheers Everyday Tags Wedding Card

Today's project is a lovely non-traditional wedding card. I randomly selected the colors for this card...I wasn't sure about them, but the more I have stared (yes, stared) at this card the more I love it! This week I challenged my team of Quitabug Stampers to make a wedding/anniversary themed card. This is my contribution to this week's theme challenge. What do you think?

Project Measurements
Delightful Dijon card base 5.5" x 8.5" scored at 4.25"
Delightful Dijon layer 4" x 5.25"

The Delightful Dijon layer was inked with Delightful Dijon using one of our Stamping Sponges.

Strips of ribbon and a torn piece of Pop of Pink Washi is layered behind the heart. The heart has been stamped with Watermelon Wonder Ink using an image from the Work of Art stamp set. The sentiment comes from the Everyday Tags stamp set. Gold Metallic Thread is looped behind the heart. A tiny gold enamel heart was added to the bottom right of the card.

Both the heart and Delighful Dijon layers are attached using dimensionals. And of course my envelope has been stamped for that extra sweet touch!
