Lemon Lime Hooray| July Paper Pumpkin Alternate Idea #2

 

I have another fun alternate project idea for you using the July Paper Pumpkin Kit: Positively Picturesque. Lemon Lime Twist & Basic Black are such a striking combination together! The beautiful watercolor wash card base that comes in the kit was perfect for this card. I simply cut the card base down to use it as a layer for this alternate idea.

Helpful Tips:

• Add a layer 1/8th of an inch larger than your focal panel for a peek of color.
• When adding ribbon, cut two pieces. Wrap one piece around your layer and adhere it to the back. Use the other piece to make a simple knot around the first piece of ribbon. This is any easy way to get a "bow" tied look without all of the fuss.

Project Measurements

Lemon Lime Twist base 5.5" x 8.5" scored at 4.25"

Basic Black layer 3 5/8" x 5 1/8"

Top layer 3.25" x 5"

Powder Pink Love| July Paper Pumpkin Alternate Idea #1

Paper Pumpkin is loads of fun each month! In addition to completing the kit as it comes, you can use the supplies to create alternate ideas. I used the July Perfectly Picturesque kit to create this soft love card. The only thing I added is some of Stampin' Up!'s Vellum Cardstock.

Helpful Tips:

• Cut apart the envelope to use the decorative liner as designer paper for your project. 
• Adhere your elements to the top of the vellum and then place adhesive behind those layers to adhere the vellum to your card front. This way the adhesive is not visible on your project.
