Happy Saturday! Today's project is a fun one featuring the retiring Pieces & Patterns stamp set. I love the clean, bold look of this card. It's also super easy to create and would be a fun card layout to use for a variety of occasions.

I had to wake up super early this morning to take my car in to the dealership for regular maintenance. I decided to unbox my new Stampin' Up! tumbler I received at OnStage last weekend! Stampin' Up! sure spoils their demonstrators! I received this mug as a special gift at CenterStage, a leadership event for demonstrators who are Silver Elite and above. 

I love that my Stampin' Up! business can travel with me. I packed up my laptop, the new catty, my OnStage notebook and pen. Got some work done while I got my car all taken care of. I sure do love my job!

Cute Little Banner Wrapped Chocolates

Today's project is a quick and easy wrapped chocolate treat featuring some left over pieces from my January 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit- Heartfelt Love Notes. These are simple, cute little treats to make with minimal supplies.

Pick a Pattern Designer Paper 1.75" x 8"

Helpful Tips:

• I used the two leftover vellum banners from my kit, along with two of the adhesive-backed flirty flamingo banners to decorate these wrapped treats. 
• I die cut the heart image using the Sweet and Sassy Framelits. 
• I used the "happy valentine's day" sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes, punched it out using the Classic Label Punch, then added Flirty Flamingo enamel shapes from the kit. 
• I cut a strip of Pick a Pattern Designer Paper and punched both ends using the Banner Triple Punch. After wrapping the paper around my stacked treats, I stapled it closed. The Mini Tinsel Trim hides the staple.

Helpful Tips:

• Cut down designer paper into random sizes, lay them out in a fun way and build your card around those pieces. 
• Use the front and back side of one sheet of designer paper for fun contrast on your project.
• Add some designer paper or stamping to the inside of your card to dress up your message.

I designed this card for my team's summer theme challenge this week. It's rare that I envision a project and it actually turn out the way I planned but that's exactly what happened with this card.
