Easel Expression of Love

I love the colorful simplicity of this card! This card was made in celebration of World Card Making Day on this past Saturday. I haven't decided who I'm going to send it too but I really really love the way it turned out! I had forgotten about how fun the Painter's Palette stamp set is.

Helpful Tip:

• Stamp the easel twice. Stamp inside of one of the framed areas and hand cut out the frame. Adhere the stamped hand cut frame on top of the first stamped easel. This adds a fun layer of dimension to the easel.

Stampin' Up! Sunshine Wishes Congrats Card

I have another project idea to share with you. Today's project features the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits + Playful Palette Washi Tape. For some reason, I am on a Painter's Palette kick the last few days. I just love the colors of the suite and the versatility!

I made these cards for a couple of ladies on my team of Quitabug Stampers. They will each be receiving one of these cards, along with, a Stampin' Up! product gift in celebration of their January achievements on our team! I love my team and I love to spoil them for their accomplishments.

Peekaboo Peach card base 5.5" x 8.5" scored at 4.25"

Whisper White layer 4" x 5.25"

I chose three patterns from the washi tape for the back ground of the card. A quarter of a Delicate Doilie was added beneath the washi.

The word "congrats" was die cut in Basic Black from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlit set. "It's Your Day" was stamped in Basic Black Archival ink using the Sunburst Sayings stamp set. 

To finish off the card, I added a small piece of ruched ribbon in Peakboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum topped with a strand of Silver Sequin Trim. I stapled these three elements onto the Whisper White layer. Finally, I decorated the envelope using the Painter's Palette stamp set, Peekaboo Peach ink, and Sweet Sugarplum ink.

Stampin' Up! Painter's Palette Birthday Card

Don't you just love this card!! It's so appealing to me...I can't stop looking at it! 
I pulled out my Painter's Palette stamp set to create this pretty pink card. It's so much fun to use products you haven't used in a while. Plus, you can never have too many birthday cards, right?
I love cards that are quick and easy (for the most part). This is definitely one of those cards and it could be re-created in so many colors and patterns.

Project Supplies

I used the splatter image from the stamp set + Flirty Flamingo ink to add a tone on tone interest to the background of the card. I used dimensionals to pop up the flirty flamingo layer.

A die cut star from the Treat Bag Thinlits adds a bit of fun to the inside layer. I love signing my cards using my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.
