Swirly Lovely Friends Card

Today's card is a simple one but very pretty! I love the Lovely Friends stamp set. It has two large font sentiments and they really steal the show, so no need to get too fancy. I paired the Lovely Friends stamp set with Swirly Bird to add a whimsical floral look to the card. So pretty!

Helpful Tips:

• When stamping the floral images, stamp off onto scratch paper to get various shades of color using only a couple of ink pads.
• Layer a doilie between the Crushed Curry and stamped Whisper White layer for added texture.
• Use a stampin' up piercing mat to get crisp images when stamping using photopolymer sets.

Lovely Friends Ridiculously Happy Card

Helpful Tip:

• Use sticky notes to create a mask for the flowers by stamping the flower image onto the sticky note, then cut the image out. You can use the mask to create a layered effect to the flowers and give them some depth.

For today's project I pulled out some of my brand new product, the Lovely Friends Bundle, and paired it with an oldie but goody, Flower Shop. When I first saw the Lovely Laurel Thinlits, I wasn't sold on them but I loved the sentiments in the Lovely Friends stamp set. One of my fabulous team members helped me see the possibilities of these thinlits so I decided to go ahead and get the bundle, so happy I did! I absolutely love this card!
