Trick or Treat Book Box

Hey there! Happy Saturday! I enjoyed bringing you a project on Saturday a few weeks ago for WCMD, so I decided I might possibly make this a regular thing in the future.

I'm super excited about today's project!! It's something I've never made before, a book box. I had the idea because of my Murder She Wrote book club! I have a best friend in North Carolina who I do this weekly book club with and we had chosen this particular book for October because of it's Halloween theme. However, we haven't finished our last book so...looks like we won't start this one until November. I wanted to send her the book as a gift and I of course needed some cute packaging. I love that I can make my own gift boxes using Stampin' Up! products! In today's tutorial I share some tips on how I come up with measurements for custom boxes.

Halloween Gift Tags

Hey there! I have a super quick Halloween tag idea to share with you today featuring the Scary Cute stamp set. I made these simple tags for Malakai's class treats. His class is having a little Halloween party on Thursday.

It was so difficult to find treats that were appropriate for 12-24 months. I ended up going with these Black Forest fruit snacks (really good brand and they do not stick to your teeth) and little flutes. I found all these items at Walmart.

Haunting Halloween Treat Bag

I can't stop looking at this bag! I love everything about it! This was my first time to use our new Everyday Punch and I think it may be my new favorite. It's such a fun shape. This treat bag is so easy to make and you can get two out of one sheet of 12 x 12 paper.

Helpful Tips:

• Stamp the focal image twice in two different colors. Hand cut out the word Halloween and use dimensionals to adhere it to the the second image. 
• Use the Eastern Medallions thinlit dies + scalloped circle framelit to create a custom doily to layer behind the stamped image.
