Dare to Dream Card

With all of the devastation Hurricane Harvey has left behind in my city, I wanted to share something uplifting today. Although Houston is damaged and many lost everything, Houstonians are strong and resilient. Our community has come together in a remarkable way during this horrific storm. I am so thankful that my family and home were safe during the storm. I feel blessed to now have the opportunity to help others impacted by Harvey.

Melon Mambo base 4.25" x 4 7/8"

Whisper White 4.5" x 4"

Designer paper 3.5" x 5.25"

I used the Dare to Dream hostess stamp set for this project. This set is available for purchase using stampin' rewards when you place a $150 order (order total before tax/shipping) in my Online Store.

Helpful Tips:

• Cut the designer paper layer to size (measurements listed above) and score the short side at 1/4". Fold and crease the score line and then adhere the flap behind the Whisper White layer. Adhere the Whisper White layer to the Melon Mambo base. Cut off any excess length of the designer paper.

I have a fairly quick and simple card tutorial for you today. Today's project inspiration comes from Stampin' Up!'s Stampin' Success Magazine. This magazine is so awesome! Lost Lagoon card base cut at 8.5" by 5.5" scored at 4.25
Whisper White stamped layer cut at 3" by 4"
Inside Whisper White layer cut at 4" by 5.25"

I love this card! The greeting font and flower shop stamp seem to coordinate so well. I definitely want to make several of this card in a variety of colors. Hmm...I may use this design for all the April birthday cards I need to send out.
