So...these tic tac treats are ADORABLE!! I don't want to give them away...they're too cute to share, lol! I had so much fun using the blends to color these little winter cuties. I colored them with my sister and I in mind. She's on the right and I'm on the left. I can't wait to show these to her. I know she's going to love them! Who would've thought Tic Tac's could make such cute little treats?!
I embossed a piece of Whisper White cardstock using the Hexagon Dynamic Impressions embossing folder (for an igloo effect) and die cut the cardstock using one of the layering circle framelits. This adds some fun texture behind each little snow girl.
I used the Ivory and Bronze Stampin' Blends to create natural skin tones of each girl. The Color Lifter helps you get the exact shade you're wanting.
It's difficult to see in the pictures but I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the furry bits on each girls outfit. These snow girls needed some sparkle! :)
Aren't these ornaments gorgeous? The Be Merry Kit produces beautiful rosettes with all materials included in the kit to create 12 designs. You will adore this kit and the versatility of using them as ornaments, gift tags, decor, and more.

As previously announced, this week's Handmade Monday tutorial is a special double feature! Here is part 2 of my February customer thank you gift. I decided to include a little sweet treat in my gift this go round.

I have a fun gift idea to share with you today...because who doesn't like to get a gift every now and again?! Let's face it, there's nothing like receiving a thoughtfully handmade gift! The idea for this gift came about when I was doing some Christmas shopping and ran across the Moleskine journal section of Barnes and Nobles. I found a mini set of ruled journals that came in a 3 pack and couldn't pass them up. I thought they would be super cute to customize and give this Christmas.
Check out the video tutorial below. I have a full list of supplies for this project below the video.
1. Slide your embellished journal into the kraft bag and crease the top of the bag where it meets the top of the journal inside.
2. Remove the journal and crease the flap again. Cut one of the tea lace doilies in half and adhere it in the center of the creased flap using snail adhesive.
3. On a scrap piece of whisper white cardstock, stamp "Just for you" and the small detailed butterfly from the Watercolor Wings stamp set, in lost lagoon classic ink.
4. Use the 1-3/4" circle punch to punch out the image.
5. Use the 2" circle punch to punch a piece of smoky slate cardstock. Adhere the 1-3/4"circle to the 2" circle using snail.
6. Cut about 15 inches of silver metallic thread. Run snail along the back of the 2" circle and wind the thread decoratively along the back creating loops that over hang the 2" circle.
7. Use the 2-3/8" scallop circle punch to punch a piece of lost lagoon cardstock. Adhere the 2" circle to the front of the scallop using stampin dimensionals and add a small jewel rhinestone to the center of the butterfly.
8. Adhere the scallop circle to the doily using snail.
9. Place your embellished journal inside the gift bag and seal using the clothespin.
10. Give to someone special! :)
