Trick or Treat Book Box

Hey there! Happy Saturday! I enjoyed bringing you a project on Saturday a few weeks ago for WCMD, so I decided I might possibly make this a regular thing in the future.

I'm super excited about today's project!! It's something I've never made before, a book box. I had the idea because of my Murder She Wrote book club! I have a best friend in North Carolina who I do this weekly book club with and we had chosen this particular book for October because of it's Halloween theme. However, we haven't finished our last book so...looks like we won't start this one until November. I wanted to send her the book as a gift and I of course needed some cute packaging. I love that I can make my own gift boxes using Stampin' Up! products! In today's tutorial I share some tips on how I come up with measurements for custom boxes.

Mini Candle Box

Hey there! I have a sweet little gift box to share with you today. It easily fits a 2.29oz min candle and it uses the retired Mini Shipping Boxes. At the time I filmed this tutorial those little boxes were still available. It looks like they have since sold out. BUT! We have lots of other treat boxes available that you could easily use this same idea for...they just may not be big enough for a mini candle but you could place another little goody inside.

Fitting Florets DSP 4" x 12" 

(simply wrap around box and pinch along each edge then remove and crease pinch lines with a bone folder)

I made two of these cute little boxes. One to give to Malakai's teacher for her birthday and the other for the Assistant Director at the school who has a birthday this week as well. I hope they enjoy these candles. They smell amazing!

Dragonfly Sun Prints Pinched Gift Bag

Hey there and welcome to part 2 of last Wednesday's project. If you missed last week's project, you can find it here. Again, I used the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set and paired it with a simple pattern from the gorgeous Sun Prints Designer Series Paper. 

I tucked a minty lip shine (gloss) inside of each pinched gift bag as a special little gift for Malakai's teachers and a couple of the ladies at the front desk. I found the lip shine at Bath & Body Works. This sweet little bag is so simple to make and its just so dang cute!

Sun Prints DSP 4.5" x 5.5"- with the long side at the top of your scoring board, score at 5"

Rotate your paper counter clockwise (with the scored short side at the top of your scoring board). Score at 1", 2", 3", and 4" stopping at the already scored line each time.

How To Make A Large Lidded Sweet Ice Cream Gift Box

Hey there! I am so so excited to share a 3D project with you today! I designed the cute box on the left specifically to fit a gift I was giving to my sister for her birthday. I absolutely loved how it turned out so of course I had to do a tutorial and share it with you all. I decided to make a masculine version of the box in the video. The shades of blues and green in this designer paper is beautiful!

Look at how much this box holds! Isn't it wonderful? The finished measurements are 6" x 6" x 3". Very large! It holds loads of goodies!

Christmas Gleaming Gift Box

Hey there! I am so excited about today's project! I used the retiring Christmas Gleaming Bundle and Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper (on sale for $7.50). I haven't made a box in a long time. I actually originally designed this box in 2017 as one of my bonus Club Quitabug projects. I followed my own video tutorial to re-create the box. It was really kind of fun to follow my own instructions.

Floral Essence Soap Box

Today's project is a super easy gift box for a lovely soap I got for my mom on my trip to Greece. I used our handy kraft mini shipping boxes and simply decorated it with a few pieces of designer paper with a tiny bit of stamping. Super easy and cute!

Sweet Birthday Cheer Gift Box
