Wishing You Everything Wonderful

Hey there! I'm so happy to be back with you! As you may have seen on my Facebook Page, I took a month and a half away to finish up my schoolwork. I had set a goal to finish by mid-April and I was determined to do it...and I did! Yay! So, now I'm easing my way back into my office, shipping, creating, and filming.

I think today's card is just lovely! The Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper (retiring soon) is just gorgeous and I love the pastel hues.

Time for A Happy Dance

Hey there! I have a simple but pretty card to share with you featuring some products that retire tomorrow (June 30, 2022). So, ya gotta grab them while you still can! I used the lovely Flowing Flowers stamp set and paired it with this sort of distressed Bermuda Bay print found in the Artfully Composed Designer Series Paper. I love how clean and simple this card looks!

Congrats, You Are Amazing

Hey there! Today's card was inspired by my sister. Well...inspired for her I guess I should say. She received an unexpected job promotion last week, so I wanted to make her a special card in celebration of her good news! And...I'm so happy with how it turned out. I used the You Are Amazing stamp set, which is amazing itself, lol. I love the little speaking bubble image. It really helps spotlight the sentiment in a fun way. I also used my Stamparatus to help me line everything up. Be sure to watch the video tutorial for tips on how to do this.

Hey there! I have a cute project idea for you featuring the retiring Above the Clouds Bundle. A couple of weeks ago, we had a team color challenge using Merry Merlot, Soft Sea Foam, and Rococo; this is the card I created for the challenge.

Rococo Rose sentiment cut down to size

Helpful Tips:

• Stamp the balloon line image, onto Whisper White cardstock, using Rococo Rose and Merry Merlot ink. Stamp off once to create a light shade using the filler image for each balloon.
• Adhere the Merry Merlot balloon flat and pop up the basket using a mini dimensional. Pop up the Rococo Rose balloon and basket.
• Stamp the sentiment in Versamark ink, cover with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set using the Stampin' Heat Tool.

Stamping Your Way to the Top| Silver Goodies

Happy Wednesday! I'm absolutely in love with today's project and I'm super excited about who I created these gorgeous cards for. Two lovely ladies on my team of Quitabug Stampers recently promoted to the title of Silver with Stampin' Up! This is a huge milestone in their Stampin' Up! journey as it means they have reached a specific sales threshold and gained their very first team member. So exciting and definitely worth a beautiful card and bag of goodies from their oh so proud team leader! ♥

Project Measurements

Whisper White thick card base 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"

Coastal Cabana layer 1-1/4" x 5-1/2"

Helpful Tips:

• To create the rectangle frame, lay one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits on top of your paper, layer a smaller rectangle inside the other and run it through your die cutting machine. You will be left with two pieces, an open frame and a smaller solid rectangle.
• I used a demonstrator exclusive stamp set for the sentiments on this card.

Elegant Congratulations featuring Petal Palette

 

Happy Monday! Today I'm sharing the 3rd and final card in my simple card series. You can find card #1 here and card #2 here. I have really enjoyed this short series. It's quite fun to see what you can create when you limit yourself to some basic supplies. I think all 3 projects were absolutely gorgeous but this one is definitely my favorite of the 3. I'd love to know which was your favorite, share it in the comments below.

For today's card, I used the pretty Petal Palette stamp set and coordinating Petals and More Thinlits Dies.

Helpful Tips

• Emboss the Whisper White layer using the Layered Leaves embossing folder.
• Stamp the rose image in Memento Tuxedo Black. Color the image using Stampin' Blends. I used Rich Razzleberry + Old Olive.
• When coloring using blends, I like to go over the interior lines of the image using the darkest shade. I then color over the entire image using the lighter shade. I find this technique adds really nice depth and shading to the stamped image. 
• Stamp the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss on designer paper.

I think this card would make a perfect wedding or engagement card. Its absolutely stunning!
