Thanks A Latte

Happy Saturday! This will be my last post featuring retiring product. I've really enjoyed featuring my retiring favorites this month. But, I'm officially ready to crack open my box of new goodies and start playing. It's been sitting on my kitchen table since April! Yes, April!! I've really enjoyed the Coffee Cafe stamp set and Coffee Cup Dies. I'll definitely be keeping this set in my stash. As you already know, I love anything coffee or tea themed.

Summer Lemonade featuring Coffee Cafe

Happy Monday! Today's project is a fun card with some major summer vibes. First off, I'm lovin' the new Pineapple Punch color. It is so bright and vibrant! This was definitely the perfect color for a glass of lemonade.

I created this card for my teams theme challenge last week, "Fun in the Sun".

HOST CODE- R2A3WQ3U

Project Measurements
Pineapple Punch card base 5.5" x 8.5" scored at 4.25"
Pineapple Punch layer 3.75" x 5"
Smoky Slate layer 2.5" x 3.5"
Shimmery White layer 2.25" x 3.25"

Helpful Tips
  • Stamp the cup outline first in Smoky Slate on Shimmery White cardstock. Allow it to dry. Then use Aqua Painters to watercolor the Pineapple Punch  inside the cup. Allow this to dry. PRO TIP- if you're short on time, speed up the drying process using your Stampin' Up! Heat Tool. Once dry, stamp the ice cubes in Smoky Slate.
  • Use the Coffee Cups framelits to die cut the frosty cup in vellum cardstock. PRO TIP- for a clear glass look use Window Sheet instead. Adhere the vellum by placing a glue dot in each corner (be sure to adhere your straw before adhering the vellum cup).
  • Use the Make a Difference stamp set to create the word "summer". Add lemon slices using the Lemon Zest stamp set.

Stampin' Up! Saturday| Coffee Cafe Happiness

Happy Saturday...there's still some left! I'm excited to bring you a new Stampin' Up! Saturday tutorial! Today's project is super cute, don't you think?? This card was inspired by the decorated coffee cup on pg. 30 of the annual catalog. I was so excited to take a 3D design idea and re-work it into a card and I am super impressed with the finished project.

Watch the VIDEO tutorial for step-by-step instructions on how I put this card together.

Pink & Purple Coffee Cafe

Happy Tuesday! I haven't posted quite as often as I usually do, however, it's because I have been crafting up a storm preparing lots of upcoming projects and video tutorials!

Today's project is a fun combination of the Coffee Cafe Bundle and the pretty Painted With Love Designer Paper! I also added a touch of the new Heart Happiness stamp set to the mix.

Measurements
Card base 5.5" x 8.5" scored at 4.25"
gold foil layer 3.75" x 5"
powder pink layer 3.5" x 4.75"

Helpful Tips:
  • Add some metallic elements, in this case, gold foil sheet + a metallic enamel shaped heart. This helps add some glitz to the design!
  • Try adding your ribbon in a different way. I drapped the ribbon in a "z" shape behind the focal image. This created an element of fun and added some texture.
  • I used Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper for the foamy bit of cream. I love the sparkle of this paper! Gorgeous!
  • NEVER send a naked envelope! Jazz up your envelope with some stamping and designer paper.
