Hello, Happy Birthday

Hey there! It's Thursday and I have another project and video tutorial for you. Today' I'm featuring the cute Hello Kiwi Stamp Set. Are you a fruit stamp fan? I don't know what it is about fruit sets, but I absolutely love them! This is probably my favorite of the fruit sets we have available right now.

If you watched the video tutorial...here's a tree update!

Our handy yard man came to the rescue shortly after the fall and he was able to cut the tree up and haul it away in about 4 hours.

Apparently this is an Oak Tree (I don't know anything about trees) and they can be prone to falling. This particular tree most likely fell due to the drought like conditions we currently have here in Texas from the excessive heat. Please🙏🏽let some rain come soon!

Celebrate

Hey there! I'm so excited to have a new tutorial for you after 4 months of being unable to film due to our move to a new city. We're finally moved and I'm "mostly" set up in my new outdoor office, so I was able to film my first video tutorial in the space. Yay! 

I kept this first tutorial short & simple because I wanted to test out some things...lighting, sound, workspace, and the biggie- internet upload speed! This 10 minute video took about an hour and half to upload which is a big difference compared to my previous home internet (fiber) which took less than 5 minutes for any video length. So, this will be an adjustment for sure but at least we have internet...that's definitely something to be thankful for! Ok, enough chit-chat,  let's get to today's project!

Happiest of Birthdays

Hey there! I have a vibrant birthday card to share with you today. I was sorting my handmade cards into categories this weekend and realized I was running low on birthday cards. Hello Sunshine + Giveaway

I wanted to create a card that captured me on paper...somehow, lol. and I think this card has done just that! I used one of my favorite stamp sets right now, Sunny Splash. Perfect set for a summer birthday and I just love these retro inspired swimsuits. I stamped them in my favorite bright colors: Polished Pink, Coastal Cabana, Mango Melody, and Parakeet Party. And of course...built it up on Basic White thick (which you know is my favorite for card bases) and finished it with Matte Black Dots...my favorite embellishment. I absolutely love this card and I hope that you enjoy this tutorial.

Hey there! I have a super quick card to share with you today. I'm very behind on sending out my March birthday cards, one of which needed to be a masculine card. So, I came up with this quick card and it's perfect for what I needed! I used the retiring Happiest of Birthdays stamp set for the sentiment and the Cactus Cuties stamp set to add an image to the inside of the card (pictured at the bottom of this blog post) and on the the front of the envelope. I chose some designer series paper from the retiring Pattern Party DSP...one of my favorite paper collections!

May Your Birthday Be Memorable

Hey there! I'm loving today's project! The colors work so well together and those Opal Rounds as a finishing embellishment 😍. I used the Timeless Tropical stamp set and coordinating In the Tropics dies to create this card. I was inspired by the sample found on page 21 of the Annual Catalog. For my recreation, I changed the colors to Blackberry Bliss, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen, and Polished Pink.

I stamped the leaves in Evening Evergreen ink onto Soft Succulent cardstock. This gives a darker stamped image for the leaves, which I thought looked better with the Blackberry Bliss flowers.

Hey there! Today's card is happy but simple. I paired the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set with the Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper. It was really difficult to choose a color for the card base. I was torn between Gray Granite and Flirty Flamingo. I put up a poll on Instagram and many of you voted for Flirty Flamingo, so that's what I used. I think it was the perfect choice!

TIP: I wanted a coordinating flap for the envelope. I didn't have any Just Jade designer paper, so I sponged ink onto the flap using my Just Jade Ink Pad and a Blending Brush.

Hope Your Day Is Fantabulistic! Fabulous and Fantastic All In One

Hey there! I REALLY love how today's card turned out! The colors are so vibrant and the design is clean and simple. This card started from a sketch I created this weekend. You can view the sketch over on my Instagram in today's post at 7pm CT. I used two two Sale-A-Bration stamp sets for this design. I found this amazing sentiment in the In Your Words stamp set (available free with a $300 spend). The Textures & Frames stamp set (available free with a $50 spend) was used to create the simple but vibrant background.
