Hope This Card Makes You Smile

Hey there! I have a colorful embossed card for you today. I haven't used an embossing folder in awhile, so I was excited to create today's card featuring the Thanks & Hello Embossing Folders. These folders are sized perfectly to fit in your Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine...you know how much I love this cute and convenient little machine! I used two host items to complete this card: the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper (available for free with at $150+ spend) and the In Your Words stamp set (available for free with a $300 spend). I just love how bright and happy this card turned out. The colorfulness suits the sentiment perfectly.

Hello Card Featuring Country Home

Hey there! I have a lovely new tutorial for you featuring the retiring Country Home stamp set. I decided to try and focus the month of April on products that are retiring as a way to get a little more fun out of them before they're gone. This stamp set doesn't have any coordinating dies or punches so I had to hand cut out the images. It's not my favorite thing to do but I did it. I think the card looks lovely.

Project #1

Measurements:
card base 5.5" x 8.5" scored at 4.25" (once scored/folded cut off 1/4" from the open side opposite the fold)
Whisper White layer 1-3/4" x 4"
envelope flap (pick a pattern designer paper) 2.5" x 6" (adhere to flap/cut off excess)

Tip: 

Stamp the flower image twice in Rich Razzleberry and cut out the out layer and inner layer. Adhere the two layers together with a dimensional to add some depth to this simple card.

Project #2

Measurements:
card base 4.25" x 11" scored at 5.5"
whisper white layer 4" x 5.25"
old olive layer 3" x 3"
powder pink layer 2-7/8" x 2-7/8"
whisper white layer 2-3/4" x 2-3/4"envelope flap (whole lot of lovely designer paper) 2.5" x 6" (adhere to flap/cut off excess)

Project #3

Measurements:
card base 5.5" x 8.5" scored at 4.25"
whisper white layer 3.75" x 5.5"


Tips:
Use Stampin' Write markers to color the flower image in multiple colors.
