Welcome Home Gift Bag

   

Happy Monday! I have a glitzy gift bag to share with you today. It's gorgeous, gold, and glimmery! I love it! I made this bag, with a gift card inside, for my mom who moved into a new house this weekend. My mom's favorite color is purple so of course I used only purple inks (all of which are retiring ones). I also used the retiring Home Life Bundle.

Helpful Tips:

• I die cut the house in gold foil and Elegant Eggplant. I offset the two houses slightly and layered them together using fast fuse.
• I punched out two gold glimmer leaves using the leaf punch. I layered the leaves and a quarter of a delicate white doily behind the sentiment and popped the layer up with dimensionals. 
• The banner sentiment was stamped in Elegant Eggplant and Perfect Plum. "Welcome" was stamped directly onto the bag using Wisteria Wonder.
• I finished the bag with a few Perfect Plum enamel shapes and some shreddie inside.

Got a couple of pictures with my mom after we got everything all moved into the house. It was definitely time for a coffee break! Luckily, there was a Starbucks a mile up the road...thank goodness because the Keurig was somewhere packed away in a box.
