Mixed Medallions Card Kit

I honestly wasn't sure I liked the Mixed Medallions Card Kit in the Sale-A-Bration brochure but I went ahead and recently selected it as one of my freebies when placing an order. I have to say...once I started making the cards, I really liked them.

I needed seven cards to recognize the February Super Stampers on my team. This kit ended up being perfect because it makes 8 cards, 4 of each design. I didn't care for the punch out pieces the kit comes with so I used the new scallop punches and some card stock to make my own layers. I added a piece of the Bubbles and Fizz Designer Series Paper (free with a $50 purchase) to the inside behind the Whisper White sentiment layer. This made a fun pop of color when you opened up the cards. 

I used the Happy Wishes stamp set (free with a $100 purchase) to stamp the sentiment for both the inside and outside of the cards. I used the Bermuda Bay + Calypso Coral ribbon from the Shimmer Ribbon Pack (free with a $50 purchase) to tie each card closed. The ribbon closure makes each of these cards feel like its own little package...love it!

In addition to the cards, each Super Stamper recieved a package of Pearl Basic Jewels. I added a belly band, using the Bubbles and Fizz DSP, to decorate the package and stamped the sentiment using the Epic Celebrations stamp set (free with a $50 purchase).
