Happy Thursday! If you watched my Stamparatus Unboxing video yesterday, I demonstrated how you can use the Stamparatus to heat emboss in any Stampin' Up! ink color. So cool right?! As promised, here is the finished project I created using the embossed lemon slice from the video.
This card was inspired by a card I created last year. I used the same embossing technique (without the Stamparatus of course) by covering the wet Watermelon Wonder ink with clear embossing powder. You have to be quick but it can be done. I definitely found it easier to use the Stamparatus and Versa Mark ink but if you don't have a Stamparatus, you can use the other process.
I love this comparison of both images (above and below). On the lemon slice you can see the embossing is very even and smooth on the image. Where as, on the flower, (where I used the technique without Versa Mark) the embossing has a more dewy look. Both look amazing in my opinion! I guess you can choose which way you want to emboss based on which look you want to achieve.
Which embossed finish do you prefer?
Check out the original blog post for the card above.

I've really been enjoying decorating the inside of my cards lately! Not sure I'll do it all the time, but for the cards where I feel inspired to do so, I will! I love how it finishes things up!
